Shinjuku Area
Tokyo is an innovative city where people from all over the world visit and it never stops changing.Shinjuku is the new city center of Tokyo with convenient access to major railway stations. Closest hotel from the Shinjuku station’s West Exit, Kadoya Hotel is located within a 3-minute-walk, Various types of rooms, supporting both business and leisure travelers accessibility.
The Kadoya Hotel is located in the area of Shinjuku in the North West of Tokyo. This place is an important hub to travel around the capital city. Indeed, this is the biggest train station in the world. Five minutes to the train station and from the Governmental Tower, you can have a great idea of the city’s spirit. I think that the appealing part of the area for them is that there still remains the old townscape.
Traditional Meals in Restaurant
The Hotel proposes an excellent and typical dinner at their restaurant and Izakaya in downstairs “Hatago”. A beautiful table stands in the middle of the restaurant with a hearth giving a strong identity to the place. It can be used for cooking or spread the heat around. You can have a convivial dinner with your friends or family.
We had a delicious “Sukiyaki” which is a Japanese specialty. It consists of a boiling soup where you put yourself some beef, noodles, and vegetables, given aside. To go with this soup, we chose some “yuzu chu”. This is alcohol made of Yuzu, a fruit from Japan which tastes in between lemon and orange; highly recommended.

Bar Experience With Intercultural Exchanges
After this dinner, the hotel owner advised us a special bar which was really surprising. Hidden on the third floor of a building, if you don’t know the address, you will never find it. The specificity of this bar, Bar B&F is that you have to choose one fruit and one alcohol. According to your choice, the bartender makes you a personalized drink. We tried some Japanese Gin with kiwi and Whiskey with pearl, genuine and astonished mix. The staff was really friendly and can speak English. I also really liked the shape of the glasses, which bring a classy touch.
You can find some bars like this in Tokyo. However, they are mostly known by local inhabitants.
In the morning
In the morning, you can pick either Japanese or western breakfast style depending on your mood of the day. I have personally chosen the western one which came with three different types of bread.

Final thoughtst
For people which are planning to stay a few days in Tokyo, the Kadoya Hotel is a great place. In fact, you can have a deep touch of Japanese culture. It is a good mix between Japanese and occidental style, for a smooth jump intoTokyo jungle. Furthermore, the staff will help you and will give you good advises to travel around.
